    I like to think of this in the following way:

    Let's say you are experimenting with materials and attempting to create your own product. You may come up with many different models through the progress, and want to update it. Experimenting with something involves change. The experimental group involves change.

    Now, let's say you're married, and your spouse is a very controlling person in the relationship. You aren't going to be able to make any changes at all. The control group involves no change.

    Therefore, your answer, is the Control Group.
