    The shift from surface-to deep-level diversity means moving from surface level diversity (discrimination against people due to their sex, religion and race) this kind of diversity is easily observable and this leads to Prejudice and decrease in social integration.

    But when moved to deep - level diversity (difference based on attitude and personalities of individuals which could be communicated verbally or non-verbally) will reduce prejudice and increase social integration because deep-level diversity is not based on physical attributes
