Explanation:

The Gulf Stream refers to those strong ocean current that transports the warm ocean water from the Gulf of Mexico to the Atlantic Ocean. It constantly flows upward along the east coast of the U. S and Canada.

This strong warm water directly affects the climate of Florida (in the eastern coastal side), by maintaining a warmer temperatures during the winter and cooler temperature during the summer. This Gulf Stream proceeds toward Europe, and it eventually warms the European countries in its western side.

This Stream also carries warm water from the Gulf of Mexico to the Norwegian Sea. As this warm water moves in, the colder and denser water subsequently sinks and thereby starts moving towards the southern side. As a result of which, this water flows along the ocean floor and moves further towards Antarctica.
