    In order to achieve the objective of making a 2-year-old more fearful of crossing the street:

    Unconditioned Stimulus: The car sign on the road cross. Neutral Stimulus: The sound of the car motor, which gets louder as the car comes closer. Conditioned Stimulus: The car's horn. Unconditioned Response: The boy immediately stops once he hears the car's horn. Conditioned Response: The boy looks to the road at the moment he sees the car sign at the road's cross.
