    For about 200-year, this period experience a great deal of interrupted peace and economic prosperity throughout the Empire, which reached the wide and length of Europe from England to Morocco, and Iraq in the east.

    In this period, termed Pax Romana, the Roman Empire reached its peak in terms of land area, and its population grew to about 70 million people.

    Through the Roman system of bureaucracy, the Roman Empires, had various level of government, such as the Emperor itself and his bureaucrats, which reached about 5000 administrators, and functions in giving directives to city councils at the local level.

    Also, there were Governors and Procurators which served as imperial intermediaries, ensuring that the councils follow the imperial directives.

    Generally, Pax Romans, was achieved and successful through the Roman system of bureaucracy in which various activities were implemented to better the lives of the Romans, such as:

    1. Tribute was collected and administered by board of councilors at the local level

    2. Police work was carried out by militia councilors or Sheriffs

    3. Imperial Ruler Cult was based on the Sebastion

    4. Various local amenities including festivals were funded by wealthy individuals who in turn get rewarded with the honor of erecting their own statues in the town center at their own cost. This made them to be considered as the elite and everyone else as commoners.
