What was the long term impact of the slave trade? How did it change the world?

The size of the Atlantic slave trade dramatically transformed African societies. The slave trade brought about a negative impact on African societies and led to the long-term impoverishment of West Africa. This intensified effects that were already present amongst its rulers, kinships, kingdoms and in society.

It had multiple factors one of those factors was the economic effects the slave trade caused as in return for slaves money was paid to suppliers from foriegn contries another factor is that it cause a mixing of ethnicity and cultural within the U. S.
