    The correct answer to this open question is the following.

    We are referring to the three models of representative democracy that are pluralism, elitism, and hyperpluralism. The argument that has to be developed is related to the Founding Fathers' intent for US democracy in terms of ensuring a stable government ruled by the people.

    So that is why we choose "pluralism." The Founding Fathers were concern with establishing the best form of government for the United States. After so much debate and discussion during the Constitutional Convention in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, they accepted the federalist model supported by Alexander Hamilton and John Jay, but with the inclusion of the Bill of Rights that are the first ten amendments to the US Constitution, drafted by James Madison. That is when Antifederalists led by Thomas Jefferson accepted the new Constitution.
