President John Kennedy was assassinated on November 22, 1963. The Beatles hit the top of the charts for the first time less than a month later. Can there be any doubt that the Beatles' rise to popularity was brought about partly by Kennedy's death, which left a void in the hearts of America's youth that was quickly filled by the dynamic singing group?

    Casual reasoning

    Explanation:

The process to identify the relationship between a cause and its effect is called casual reasoning. It has been use from ancient philosophy to contemporary neuropsychology. When told that x causes y and that y causes z. Dust causes sneezing and sneezing causes cold is an example of casual reasoning.

In a faulty casual reasoning the cause of something is the one which precede it and it doesn't take into account any other causes.
