In your on words, what is a foster family?

To me,:

Foster families are families that are created for kids whose parents are dead and unable to take care of them. It's like a 2nd chance for the kids (a second chance for them to know what the love of being in a family feels like.)

Note : In foster families, the children ended up living with foster families for more than two months

Family : According to the definition i grew up to know,

Family is a group of people related by blood, marriage or adoption.

A foster family is a non blood family that sometimes can give you the feeling of a real home or not depending on your perspective
