    Wright Mills would said the following about deprivation amplification: Both public issues and personal troubles contribute to poor health and so work needs to be done at both levels to more properly address disease rates. Wright Mills is part of the power elite theory, which states that there are a handful of individuals (perhaps less then a thousand) who together effectively run the world.
