    One of the Important field of study in Psychology is known as the cognitive development. And it deals with how human beings develop from babies through to adolescence and then to adults. Cognitive development is all about how children develops intellectually.

    One of the famous Psychologists that worked on cognitive development was the swiss Psychologist whose name is Jean Piaget. According to Jean Piaget there are four (4) classification of cognitive development and they are the preoperational stage, formal operational, sensorimotor stage and the concrete operational stage.
