Discrimination is treating someone in a certain way because of the way they look/religion/racism factors.
This can be prevented by spreading awareness to other people about the negative effects of discrimination. If the discrimination was particularly bad then it can be reported as a HATE CRIME which is illegal in many countries.
Normal people can stop discrimination by telling the discriminator what they are doing is wrong and hurtful and stick up for the group being discriminated against
