Class Struggle Marx acknowledged that class struggle is the essential social issue in the history of man. According to him, capitalism would generate a great inequality through the concentration of wealth in the hands of a few, while the masses become dependent and weak. He anticipated that capitalists will eventually be overthrown by the working class that will lead to the creation of the communist state.
