What is the role of the supreme court in the federal system?

    The Supreme Court was created as the final interpreter of the federal constitutional law. One of the most important incidents in its history of it deeming a certain case as unconstitutional is with the Marbury v Madison episode. Here, it cemented its power and decisions as the final say.
