What impact did the Brown vs Board of Education trial have on the Civil Rights Movement?

The Brown vs. Board of Education trial was a case that declared racial separation in the Educational institutions in the US unconstitutional. The consequence of this ruling was that segregated schools would have to undergo an integration of students of other races (mostly all-white schools needed to admit black students).
