Well if you either have or haven't learned about the Senate or House of Representatives, they have hundreds of members. The Senate has 100 senators, while the House of Representatives have 435 members! So in total of both houses, how many would that be? That's how big they are.

Congress has 535 voting members, 435 representatives, and 100 senators. So in all, Congress has 1070 members.
