Meteorology is the science that looks at atmosphere and the weather. Atmosphere and weather would normally go together because atmosphere is a layer of gas that surrounds Earth and studying the atmospheric pressure could lead to the prediction and identification of weather. Meteorology made it possible for people to forecast weather through observation of the atmosphere and analysis of the changes occurring in them. Meteorology is further divided into sub disciplines which include air quality, climate change, climate modeling, etc.
