After years of civil war what took place in nicaragua after a cease-fire was agreed-to in 1990

On 25th April, the transfer of power to a new government happened. The Contra troops inside Nicaragua were called to move immediately to internationally supervised security areas, and were asked to give up arms and get back to civilian lives.
