In which regions and countries did the Allies win major victories against Germany?

The major victories were in Western Europe (France, Netherlands, Belgium), Northern Africa, Italy, Russia (Stalingrad). These were initial but of course they won many other battles while liberating the countries from where the Germans were retreating such as Poland, Yugoslavia, and similar.
