    The European Imperialism in the Middle East led to very arbitrarily drawn borders in the region. The Borders were drawn without taking into consideration the ethnicities, religious and tribal sects and historical divisions. This has led to prolonged disturbance and unrest in the region leading to several wars and conflicts since the Second World War.
