Jean has erroneously evaluated Meliah's intentions about not loading the dishwasher. Because she thinks that Meliah didn't unload the dishwasher on purpose, she alters her original plan of apologizing. If she had known that Meliah didn't unload the dishwasher because she was so upset about the conflict, Jean probably would have apologized in the morning, like she originally planned.
