    Your answer would be B. The reason for the ban of alcohol was that it was becoming a problem for everyone. People became addicted and it ruined peoples lives. This amendment was repealed due to the fact that it only made the problem worse. Just because it was banned didn't stop people from drinking it. They would buy and sell it illegally so the government repealed it.
