How is the epidemiologic transition like the demographic transition? how is it different?

The similarities between the two is that both of them analyze the Vital rates that happen in a certain population.

They are different in a way that Demographic transition measure the vital rates by comparing the amount of death and birth while epidemiologic transition use infectious disease and chronic disease as additional factors.
