    The purpose of eisenhower doctrine was : D. to offer military assistance to middle eastern countries that were fighting communism

    Back then, we see communism ideology as the biggest threat to the nation. If the communism managed to take control of a country, we're afraid that it will pose as a potential threat for us in the future
