Which of these is an example of institutional racism? a manager overlooking an employee due to her dislike of the employee's race the police department's policy to use race as a criterion to stop and search drivers people leaving a restaurant when a person of another race enters a person of a particular race cannot rent a house in a particular area

    Institutional racism is a form of racism expressed in the practice of social and political institutions. It is reflected in disparities regarding wealth, income, criminal justice, employment, housing, healthcare, political power, and education.

    I'm not positive but my best guess is that the answer is "A person of a particular race cannot rent a house in a particular area." If not I would say that it's "A manager overlooking an employee due to her dislike of the employee's race."

    I think that the first I listed is more likely.
