Tina's parents are certainly right for wanting to see a child psychologist. The problems she is having with misspelling words and getting her numbers backwards are common symptoms for a diagnosis of dyslexia. The family's car accident may possibly be a cause for Tina's problem. Only a psychologist will be able to if indeed the child's malfunction is a result of the trauma received during the accident. He will also see congnitive deficits such as learning disabilities.
