What is the electoral college role in electing a president

    An Electoral College role in electing president happens every four years. The voters will go to the polls and vote their candidate for President and the same time for vice president. Whoever gets the highest number of votes wins. But if no one gets the majority of votes, the college election is thrown to the House of Representatives in the United States. They called this as indirect election because whoever gets the highest number of votes automatically get the position of presidency
