Was beah better off on his own or with the group of boys he found in these chapters

    Beah had been battling with detachment, as he'd been voyaging alone for over a month. Amid that time, he thought excessively, lost all sense of direction in the backwoods, and assaulted by wild pigs. Voyaging alone managed Beah and the others issues of its own, however to be in the organization of others, especially others in a similar circumstance was a gift. He never again wished to be distant from everyone else.
