What will likely happen to liquid water when the surrounding environment is unsaturated?

    When a surrounding environment is unsaturated, most likely, the water would allow or is capable of dissolving more solute particles until it becomes saturated at that certain temperature. Being unsaturated means that the solution contains less solute than the maximum amount that can be dissolve in the solvent.
