What are some advantages and disadvantages on sexual and asexual reproduction?

Advantages for sexual: variety in the breed, can kill off abnormalities in species

disadvantages: each of the offspring will look different and inherit different traits, uncontrolled

ad for asexual: controlled, species is exactly the same

disad for asexual: if there is a common disease in the species then every single generation and all of their offspring will inherit it, no variety
