How are plant and animal cells similar to one another and different from each other?

    Similarities: Nucleus vacuoles, chromosomes Mitochondria, cell membranes cytoplasm, nucleus membrane.

    Differences: P lant cells contain chloroplasts which make the plants food (sugar). this process is called photosynthesis. A plant cell also has a cell wall, a stiff outer layer that surrounds and protects the cell and gives it shape.
