What is the difference between elements compounds and mixtures

    Elements are single forms, for example only sodium.

    compound are atoms of dfferent elements that are bonded together to create new chemicals, for example the compound made of sodium and chloride is salt.

    mixtures are non-bonded, for example copper shards and tea cups.
