1. Choose an element (1-20) from the periodic table.

2. State the electrons, protons, and neutrons.

3. Give the electron configuration for the element

4. Using your creative side, show a model of your atom including the nucleus (# protons, and # neutrons) and then using the Bohr model create the element showing the valence electrons and energy shells. If you are on a time crunch, you can draw this on paper.

    Use carbon ... it has 6 protons thus meaning if it's neutral it must have 6 electrons as well
