    The secretion of larger molecules which may be poisonous. There are three processes that involved in the formation of urine in the nephrons of the kidney. Water and small particles move during filtration into the tubule. Secreted substance which is filtrates in the distal tubule includes uric acid, hydrogen ion, ammonia and potentially toxic substances like penicillin.
