How might a change in temperature stop an enzyme from working

    An enzymes shape will change when the temperature changes, and since they rely on their shape to work, it will basically "kill" the enzyme

    The enzyme "denatures" as enzyme as an increase in heat causes the enzyme to change shape, making it unable to bind with the active site
