Describe the similarities and differences between alcoholic fermentation carried out by yeast to make alcoholic beverages and lactate-acid fermentation carried out within the human body.

    Alcohol fermentation is metabolic process where by lactate and ATPs are produced during in absence of oxygen

    Lactic Acid fermentation is a metabolic process where by glucose is broken down to Alcohol, CO2 and energy (ATPs. The C02 is the waste product.

    Lactic acid fermentation is straight step from Pyruvate to Lactic acid

    Alcoholic fermentation is a two way step - pyruvate to ethanal to ethanol
