An oocyte released from human ovary enters the oviduct as a result of wavelike motion of beating cilia present inside the oviduct.

    Explanation:

The ovum is released from the grafiaan follicle during the ovulatory phase of Menstrual cycle. It is caused by the increasing turgidity and contraction of smooth muscle fibres around the Graafian follicle. During ovulation the ovum is at secondary oocyte stage. Ovum released from the Graafian follicle is trapped by the fimbriae of the ampulla of fallopian tube. Then the ovum moves into the oviduct towards the uterus by peristalsis and ciliary action of the walls of oviduct which is made up of ciliated columnar epithelium.
