The heterozygous condition of sickle cell anemia results in resistance to malaria. If a homozygous normal father and a heterozygous mother have a child, what are the chances of that child being resistant to malaria but not having sickle cell anemia? A) 25% B) 50% C) 75% D) 100%

    The reason for this is because if the mother and the father, one is infected, and the other not, then it would be a 50/50 chance.
