why is an organism that reproduces asexually genetically identical to its parents? A.) all of the offspring's genes came from the parent. B.) all of the offspring's genes mutated to look like the parent' genes. C.) the off spring inherited only half of the parent's genes. D.) the offspring inherited only the parents dominant genes.

    The answer is A. Because if the organism asexually reproduces then all genetic material of the parent is copied and passed down to the off spring. Basically the genetic makeup of both parent and offspring are identical.
