    Protozoas are though to be the ancestors of animals. This could simply be agreed on because they exhibit characteristics of animals which ranges from movement to heterotrophy. This single celled eukaryote also has the ability to swim like an animal too.

    In its feeding process, it engulfs particle, this happens when two ends of the pseudopodium meets and fuse. Enzymes from the cytoplasm of the cell are secreted into the food vacuole to digest the food.
