Give two examples of human activities that can affect the earth system

Human pollution and construction are both detrimental activities to the earth system. Construction destroys mass amounts of forest and natural landforms every year. Animals are displaced, trees are killed and the land becomes polluted with the construction activity and the pollution of humans which take over the once natural terrains. Humans also produce large amounts of pollution in a variety of ways. Industry created tons of toxins that they place into landfills, water ways, into the ground and air. Mass farming adds to the accumulation of animal feces and methane gases. Normal families through tons of trash away every year that must be placed into landfills. Militaries across the world inundate the earth with lead and other heavy metals from war.
