An allele is a form of a gene itself. ✔
Genes have a variety of different forms and an allele is one of them. Humans have two alleles, one that is inherited from their parents.

An allele is a varient form of an gene some genes have a variety of different forms which are located at the same position or genetic locus on a chromosome.
