    Moose, red squirrels, ernines, lynx, red-throated loons, and hawk owls are located in the boreal forest (taiga). Boreal forest is a land habitat and a northern part of coniferous forests which stretches right round the planet from western Alaska to eastern Siberia. In summer, the climate is much milder and in the winter, the temperature can drop to as low as - 50 degrees Celsius.
