    Removing the biological (etiological) contamination hazards by destroying microorganisms and their toxins is called the process of disinfection. It involves killing or preventing the growth bacteria. However, it does not eliminate all bacteria, there are some microorganisms that contains spores which are very resistant to disinfectants.
