    The purpose that companies use blogs is for market research, public relations, customer relations, viral marketing, crisis communication, online communities, internal communication, and recruiting. The biggest advantage of business blogs is that it can potentially reach far-Fung and vast audiences which allows the businesses to keep customers and employees informed and to interact with them. It is not used for meetings because they do not provide real-time authoring or collaborative features.
