I believe it's bad.
Explanation:
In a pure capitalist economic system, the government has no power to regulate the competition in the market.
This could create all sorts of problems
For example,:
- businesses can use low-cost but dangerous materials in order to lower the cost of production.
- They can dump their waste to the environment without any restriction in order to cut down the cost of waste management.
- Workers can be paid with very low wages and forced to work extremely long hours.
This is why mixed economy is implemented in almost all developed countries. They let the market run on competition, but they give the power to the government to regulate the businesses in order to avoid these problem.
