    In the question above, if crowding out is ignored, The marginal propensity to consume (MPC) will be:

    Multiplier = 1: (1 - MPC)

    3 = 1 : (1 - MPC)

    3 (1 - MPC) = 1

    3 - 3MPC = 1

    -3MPC = 1-3

    -3MPC = - 2
