Ms. Brusey is applying for a car loan after her vehicle broke and now she has no way to get to work and will not be able to pay any bills if she's not getting paid. The new vehicle she is looking at costs $16,789. However, she only has a down payment of $500. Also, you run her credit score and she has a 600. Would you lend her the money for her car? Why or why not?

Therefore, she would not represent many dangers as a defaulter. However, the fact that she doesn't have anything else to get money from is concerning. Nevertheless, she wants to go to work. Otherwise, she would have claimed unemployment benefits already. The second reason is that a score of 600 is not that bad. She is in the subprime borrowers, meaning that she has had difficulties paying her bills, meaning that at some time she could default but she hasn't gone to the lowest level were the riskier clients are classified and are required collateral or deposit to guarantee their borrowing.
