Early humans maintained asuccessful hunting and gathering economy by following the game around the country and say knowing from experience where the best hunting say of deer or caribou or buffalo was at a particular time of year. Also, they would make sure they had adequate weapons for hunting and make arrow heads or spears from sharp rocks or minerals in preparation for the hunt. Also, they had division of labour so that ini many cases the men would hunt and the women would dress the meat, tan hides and prepare such foods as pemmican also including berries from gathering.
