    In order to determine the amount of energy required to vaporize a given amount of the fluorocarbon, we multiply its specific latent heat of vaporization with the number of moles being vaporized.

    If 3 moles were to be vaporized, the amount of energy required would be:

    Q = 26 kJ/mol * 3 moles

    Q = 78 kJ
